For players there arent many clubs that give you the opportunity to both earn the best and win stuff. Some players will always be looking up. Some will love to play for “their team”. Some are just happy with the money. Some want to be in London or Madrid ( but not ahead of money). Some are genuinely grateful for the opportunities football has given them.

What is Sullivan’s goal? I recon having a giggle.

What is Moyes’ goal? As far as I can tell he’s trying to win the Conference and stay up.

What are the players’ goals? Antonio is preparing for a media career ( for example ), Rice is trying to be in the shop floor. Younger hungry players might have a greater incentive to do better but I bet they all want to win stuff and earn loads of money.

It would certainly amount to corporate negligence if there is any major loss of revenue, like in the case of relegation. Unfortunately, for the time being, Sullivan is sitting pretty with all the media attention this nonsense is generating. He doesn't give a toss about the players' mood.

Agree with most of your view, I think we come to a conclusion just via different ways.

I also agree with you about defending, I played centre back when I played football and it was a buzz when the defence played well. I just want to see attacking football too and under Moyes that is so fkn limited.

Understand exactly what you say about not wanting ever to lose but still wanting Moyes out, I just come from an 'eggs & Omelette' angle.

And no way am I trying to say I'm right and you're wrong, not in any way,

Lets just hope we manage to stay up, and even win the ECL and still Moyes gets sacked.

Now that would be a result given the circumstances.

Yes I respect your view but I am clear that I can enjoy a sound defensive performance. I played many myself in amateur football and know the joy in winning against the odds.

WH should be a strong team strengthened by £200m of talent. Not an amateur team playing above their station. I want Moyes gone desperately but no way I can accept wanting WHU to lose any games.

That’s not on my radar. We will probably lose against Arsenal but I really want us to try to stop them scoring and hope we Nick a goal. Not much chance with Soucek in the team and Moyes managing them but I still hope we do the impossible.

That’s what I thought was being WHU…

You’re right, Ings & Cornet should both have scored. Both opportunities came from pressing Fulham to make mistakes - but then we sit off them and just let them have the ball. A second goal kills the game.

Without a top class stop from fabianski we might have ended up with a point.

Willtell - respecting your point of view, my view is some WH fans want to play in a certain style irrespective of the result.

It doesn't mean that I want us to lose games, I just don't want to see us playing this shite every fucking week.

And under Moyes this is what we'll get. So would I accept losing some games in order to get rid of Moyes. Bang on right. Doesn't mean that I want us to lose, but if the choice is a couple of losses to rid of him, I'll accept short term loss for long term gain.

Football is definitely a game of opinions, and i respect your opinion Surface. The win was the important thing and we managed that.

My opinion was that we were terrible. Pretty lucky with the OG as you point out, but otherwise terrible.

Lucky that Fulham were missing their talisman as well. Lucky that Fulham are bang out of form.

Part of being good defensively is being able to keep the ball and get up the pitch. We did neither and just sat back reliant on blocking shots and clearing crosses. Just a really joyless way of winning a game.

We are in a relegation battle. I accept that.

If I'm being perfectly honest, when we are in a relegation battle, which we quite often are, if there is one thing I like better than nicking a game we have been shit in with a wicked deflection off Antonio's big fat arse in the 96th minute, it is this: scoring in the 23rd minute from an own goal that should clearly have been disallowed and then hanging on for grim death with an outstanding defensive performance for the rest of the game.

Whatever anyone says I still find it hard to believe that a real WH fan would want us to lose games because they don’t like Moyes playing style.
